Every camera requires a VideoManager licence. This is a perpetual licence and can be transferred to any camera in the future. Only 1 camera can be assigned to each licence. VideoManager camera licences automatically include 1 year of Software Assurance. Software Assurance is required in order to be eligible for updates of the VideoManager software and to receive technical support on the VideoManager system. The VideoManager software will operate without updates, but will be locked into the original version. Additional Software Assurance extensions may be purchased at the time of the original purchase or any time before it expires.
